Curt Alliston, David Dindal, and Greg McCall travel to the 50th MOA National Rally in Doswell, VA

After the 2023 MOA National Rally, Greg McCall and David Dindal continued north with their destination set to Nova Scotia. Highlights include a ferry crossing with the bikes, the Cape Forchu lighthouse, and the rugged, scenic coastline. Greg reports that the interior roads, with sections of pavement that are badly damaged or washed away, are perfect for adventure bikes but present an added challenge for larger touring models, such as his K1600. While he did not dump his bike, despite the deep ruts, Greg reports that the riding his K1600 was really dirty after the ordeal.

NOVA SCOTIA WITH FRANK

After his annual California ride in 2017, Frank decided he needed more time in the saddle. Frank pointed his motorcycle North and headed  to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to ride the Cabot Trail before returning to Florida.

Frank had a close call with a deer and a brief encounter with a trooper who wasn't sure if he should give Frank a ticket or not. Frank escaped them both!

After almost 12,000 miles, Frank returned home and began planning for the next adventure.

CRUISING THE DALTON HIGHWAY

Robert Cantrell and Frank Campbell traveled to Alaska in July of 2017. Highlights of the trip included the Dalton Highway, Denali National Park and Preserve, stunning views, and a visit to the Arctic Circle.
